Sand Bank Snorkel

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Swap the resort for open water and enjoy a quick escape to a nearby sandbank.

When the tide allows, step onto the sand and take in the beautiful surroundings. You can also cool off with a swim or explore the designated snorkelling area at your own pace.

This is a simple, self-guided experience that gives you time on the water without taking up your whole day.

• Departure time: Tide-dependent and shown when booking
• Check-in: 30 minutes before departure
• Check-in location: Dulcinea Charters office at Tavola Jetty for Plantation Island Resort guests
• Approximate duration: One hour
• Operating minimum: 10 adult-fare equivalents
• Minimum calculation: Two child fares count as one adult-fare equivalent. Infant fares do not count towards the operating minimum
• Swimming requirement: Guests entering the water should be comfortable swimming
• Prams: Cannot be accommodated on this tour

• Mask, snorkel and fins
• Swimwear and a towel
• Drinking water
• Sun protection
• Any personal medication
• Any snacks your children may need

If you do not have snorkelling equipment, free equipment can be arranged directly with the Activities Bure before check-in.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• The sandbank is tide-dependent and may not always be exposed. 
• Swimming and snorkelling are self-guided. Guests must remain within the area designated by the Captain and crew.
• Children must remain supervised by a responsible adult.
• Prams cannot be accommodated on this tour.
• Please do not touch or stand on coral, disturb marine life or collect shells or marine creatures.

All prices are in Fijian dollars and include applicable Fiji Government taxes. A 1.9% online booking fee applies to online bookings. A 4% card surcharge applies to card payments. Your full total will be shown before payment.
