Cruise to Solevu Village for a guided visit, a traditional kava welcome hosted by village elders and a respectful introduction to everyday village life.

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Take a short boat ride from Malolo Lailai to Solevu Village on neighbouring Malolo Island.

A village representative will guide your visit and share local traditions and community life. Village elders will welcome you with a traditional kava ceremony, although drinking kava is completely optional.

Spend around 90 minutes in the village, with an opportunity to see the village school when access allows, before cruising back to Plantation Island.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Hats must be removed during the kava ceremony.
• Drinking kava is optional.
• School access and student interaction are not guaranteed. When the school is closed or gated, it may only be viewed from outside.
• The village has sandy and grassy areas, formed paths and uneven ground. Please contact Dulcinea before booking if anyone uses a wheelchair or walking aid or requires mobility assistance.
• Children must remain supervised by a responsible adult. Prams must be booked using the correct pram fare category.
• Guests must be staying on Malolo Lailai or have approved island access before booking.

BOOKING FEES

All prices are in Fijian dollars and include applicable Fiji Government taxes. A 1.9% online booking fee applies to online bookings. A 4% card surcharge applies to card payments. Your full total will be shown before payment.
