Our Island Village Tour takes you by boat from Plantation Island to Solevu Village, where you’ll be welcomed and introduced to everyday Fijian customs and community life.
A traditional kava ceremony is included, subject to village arrangements on the day.
Your visit may include a guided walk, stories from your village host, sightseeing around key areas, and time to browse locally made souvenirs, depending on village activities.
Where the school is open and access is approved, you may view the school area. Classroom visits and interaction with students are not guaranteed and only occur during approved times.

Village Dress Requirements
Guests must dress respectfully when entering Solevu Village.
Women should wear a long skirt, dress, or sulu covering the knees, with the shoulders covered.
Men should wear a shirt or T-shirt with knee-length shorts, trousers, or a sulu.
Swimwear and revealing clothing are not suitable inside the village.
A sulu may be worn over clothing while in the village.
Hats and sunglasses must be removed when entering or when requested.
Shoes may need to be removed before entering certain buildings.
Guests who do not meet dress requirements may not be able to participate fully.
School and Community Visits ?
The village school may be closed due to weekends, holidays, exams, or community events. School access and interaction with students are not guaranteed. During class time, guests will not interact with students. Any access is subject to approval from the school and village. Closures are outside the control of Dulcinea Charters.
Souvenirs and Contributions
- The tour includes a contribution to Solevu Village.
- Additional contributions are welcome but optional.
- Souvenirs may be available, but vendors and products are not guaranteed.
- Please bring Fijian cash, as card facilities may not be available.

This tour usually runs three times per week. Check available dates when booking.
Departure requires a minimum of 10 adult fares.
If minimum numbers are not met, the tour may be rescheduled or an alternative offered.
The tour is subject to village availability, weather, sea conditions, and safety assessment.
A kava ceremony is included, subject to village arrangements.
Timing, route, and activities may change due to village events, weather, or local requirements.
Guests must behave respectfully and follow all instructions from staff and village hosts.
Photography may be restricted in some areas.
Always ask permission before taking photos of people or community spaces.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Payments and Fees
Online bookings incur a 1.9% Rezdy booking fee.
Card payments incur a 4% credit card surcharge.
These fees are added at checkout and are non-refundable.
All fares are in Fijian Dollars and include government taxes.
Prices may change due to external costs.
Cancellation Policy ✨
Cancellations more than 24 hours before departure may receive a full refund, less non-refundable fees.
Cancellations between 12 and 24 hours before departure may receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations within 12 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.
Medical cancellations may receive up to a 50% refund with a valid certificate, subject to approval.
If Dulcinea Charters cancels due to weather, safety, or operational reasons, guests may be offered a reschedule, credit, alternative, or refund of the tour fare.
Booking and payment fees remain non-refundable.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
