Dulcinea Charters Fiji offers convenient private boat transfers between Plantation Island Resort or Musket Cove and Castaway Island Resort, Likuliku Lagoon Resort, Malolo Island Resort, or Tropica Island Resort.

This is a private one-way transfer reserved exclusively for your travelling group.

Depending on the pickup location, vessel used, and sea conditions, the journey takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

When making your booking, please provide:

  • Your preferred pickup time
  • Your transfer direction
  • Your total number of passengers
  • Details of your luggage
  • Details of any prams, wheelchairs, surfboards, fishing equipment, dive equipment, or oversized items

Your requested transfer time is not automatically confirmed when the booking is submitted. The Dulcinea Charters team will review vessel availability and operating conditions before confirming your final departure time.

The advertised price is for one journey in one direction only. Return transfers must be booked separately unless specifically included in your booking confirmation.

This booking is for a private one-way boat transfer between the pickup location and destination shown in your booking confirmation.

Return travel is not included unless specifically stated.

The price applies to the passenger tier selected at the time of booking. Children and infants count towards the vessel’s total passenger capacity.

Transfer Requests

Your preferred transfer time is a request only and is not automatically confirmed when the booking is submitted.

Dulcinea Charters will confirm the final departure time based on:

  • Vessel and Crew availability
  • The requested route
  • Weather and sea conditions
  • Destination access
  • Passenger numbers
  • Luggage requirements
  • Existing tour and transfer schedules

Transfers normally operate between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Requests outside these hours may be declined or quoted separately.

Check-In and Departure

Guests must be ready at the confirmed pickup location at least 15 minutes before departure.

Late arrival may result in:

  • A delayed departure, where operationally possible
  • Additional waiting or rescheduling charges
  • Cancellation of the transfer without refund
  • The booking being treated as a no-show

Guests are responsible for allowing enough time between ferry services, flights, resort checkouts, activities, and connecting transfers.

Dulcinea Charters is not responsible for missed connections caused by a guest’s late arrival or delays involving airlines, ferries, resorts, or other transport providers.

Deposit and Final Payment

A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the transfer.

The remaining balance is due 10 days before the scheduled departure date and may be automatically charged to the payment card used for the booking.

Bookings made within 10 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

If the remaining balance cannot be processed or is not received when due, Dulcinea Charters may cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

Online Booking and Payment Fees

Online bookings and online payments incur:

  • A 1.9% Rezdy booking fee
  • A 4% credit card surcharge

These fees are added at checkout and are not included in the advertised transfer price unless otherwise stated.

Rezdy booking fees, credit card surcharges, bank charges, and payment processing fees are non-refundable once paid.

All prices are in Fijian Dollars and include applicable government taxes unless otherwise stated.

  • Weather or sea conditions
  • Tide or current
  • Jetty or beach accessibility
  • Destination restrictions
  • Vessel requirements

Where necessary, Dulcinea Charters may use an alternative safe pickup or drop-off location.

The Captain’s safety decision is final.

Guest Cancellations

Please arrange travel insurance to cover illness, travel disruption, missed connections, weather concerns, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellations made more than 10 days before departure may receive a refund of the eligible transfer fare paid, less:

  • The non-refundable 20% deposit
  • The 1.9% Rezdy booking fee
  • The 4% credit card surcharge
  • Any applicable bank or payment processing fees
  • Any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred

Late arrivals, missed connections, and no-shows are non-refundable.

Changes to the date, time, route, passenger numbers, or other booking details may be considered subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.

Cancellation by Dulcinea Charters

If Dulcinea Charters cancels the transfer, guests will be offered one of the following:

  • An alternative departure time
  • An alternative date
  • A suitable credit
  • A refund of the eligible transfer fare paid

Rezdy booking fees, credit card surcharges, bank charges, and payment processing fees remain non-refundable once paid.

Dulcinea Charters is not responsible for additional accommodation, airline, ferry, resort, transport, meal, or other travel costs resulting from a delayed, amended, or cancelled transfer.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method where possible.

Refunds may take 7 to 14 business days to appear, depending on the bank or payment provider.

All refunds exclude non-refundable deposits, Rezdy booking fees, credit card surcharges, bank charges, payment processing fees, and any non-refundable third-party costs.

Room Charge Bookings

Where a booking has been charged to a resort room, any approved refund or credit must be arranged through the relevant booking office or Dulcinea Charters office.

The resort front office cannot issue a refund or credit without prior approval.

Passenger Conduct and Responsibility

Guests must follow Captain and Crew instructions at all times.

Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian throughout the transfer.

Passengers must remain seated where directed and must not board, disembark, move around the vessel, or handle luggage until instructed by the Crew.

All passengers travel at their own risk.

While Dulcinea Charters prioritises guest safety, it is not responsible for delays, missed connections, weather changes, sea conditions, destination restrictions, third-party actions, or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
